Main site or location of works, place of delivery or of performance: National Library of Scotland Premises in and around the Cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The Facilities Management Contract will be let for a one year term with the expectation that it will be extended year on year for a maximum of 7 years by mutual agreement and satisfactory performance.
As a minimum Bidders are required to have experience in working in an FM capacity in a Cultural Environment.
The scope of services will include :-
Supervision of the FM Contract
M&E Maintenance Services
Fabric Maintenance
Minor New Works
Some Security Systems
Fixed and Mobile Stackage New Work
Reactive and planned maintenance of other equipment including but not exclusive to (fixed mobile stackage, fork lift trucks, trollies, conservation freezers, electronic systems inthe exhibition areas).

Range: between 400 000 and 2 800 000 GBP

Description of particular conditions: The Terms and Conditions of Contract will be NEC 3.

Section IV: Procedure
Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: Following the PQQ evaluation it is anticipated tha a minimum of five and maximum of six contractors will be invited to tender for the Contract. The maximum of six candidates, who achieve the higest score accross the criteria (and assuming the pre-determined minimum quality threshold of 50 % is achieved) and those who achieve a quality threshold within the technical questions detailed in the evaluation section of the evaluation form will be invited to provide a tender for the Contract.
