Financial Planning and Forecasting Software Tool (Tool) to improve the integrity of the FSCS finance processes, data and reporting. The Tool is to be a predictive MI tool with a specific focus on:
– annual budgets,
– quarterly budget forecasts,
– annual and interim levy calculations,
– regular treasury and cash flow projections,
– provision of a robust audit trail for the various financial planning and forecasting processes,
– improvement of the production of the FSCS’s budget, forecasting, and levy calculations through reduction of the possibility of errors in improvement of processing,
– introduction of a level of automation to improve the efficiency of processes and speed up the creation, modelling and distribution of process outputs,
– provision of a user-friendly interface to enable non-Finance users to contribute and support the overall process workflow,
– 3 year planning.
