The contract to maintain and service the fire alarm and detection systems shall consist of and include the following:
a) Quarterly inspections and checks of the fire panels and standby power arrangements at each location.
b) Yearly inspections and testing of the system devices/detectors.
The contractor shall ensure all fire alarm and detection systems are maintained in full working order and in full compliance with relevant standards and HTM 05 Fire Code.
STHNHSFT is made up of two separate campuses. The Northern Campus consists entirely of the Northern General Hospital. The Central Campus consists of the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Weston Park Hospital, Jessops Maternity Wing and the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital.

1. Pre-qualification data required to take part in this Tender is that set out as a minimum set of data fields needed for an entry in sid4Health. The data fields required can be accessed from the website at www.sid4health.nhs.uk. where suppliers can register and submit their supplier profile.
2. Potential suppliers should register their interest using the myTenders web site (details will be shown within the OJEU advertisement) or with our Tender Co-ordinator by post, fax or e-mail confirming their registration details with sid4Health, and both the EU advertisement reference and our Tender reference. Should any potential supplier decline registration on sid4Health then any registration of interest must be accompanied by the minimum set of data fields needed for an entry in sid4Health.
3. Please ensure that your response contains an e-mail address for use during this tender exercise.
4. The Trust reserve the option to issue a pre-tender questionnaire covering further requirements specific to this tender.

6. Future additions to the successful supplier’s product ranges may be included during the term of the agreement.
7. The Trust reserves the option to extend any contract awarded for up to 50 % of its original term.
8. The Trust undertakes to use its best endeavours to hold confidential any information provided in any proposal submitted, subject to the Trust’s obligations under law, including the Freedom of Information Act 1997. If the applicant considers that any information submitted in any proposal should not be disclosed because of its sensitivity then this should be stated with the reason(s) for considering it sensitive.
9. The Trust may use a staged evaluation procedure to reduce the number of bidders prior to a shortlist of bidders and/or preferred bidder being selected.
