Description of the goods or services required

The Framework Agreement for Fireworks, Pyrotechnics and Special Effects Displays will cover the City of Inverness and Area. Call-Off contracts will be for displays delivered by the Inverness Festivals and Events Working Group only.

The Framework Agreement shall commence 1 May 2013 to 30 April 2016, three years with an option to extend for up to a maximum of 12 months.

The Fireworks, Pyrotechnics and Special Effects displays must be safely delivered in an entertaining and imaginative manner incorporating the latest in pyrotechnic advances within an agreed budget for two main displays annually; Bonfire Night (5 November – will move to 4 November if 5 November falls on a Sunday) and The Red Hot Highland Fling (31 December) but special effects may also be required for up to a further six events per annum.

The estimated value of the requirement over four years (including the extension option) is in the region of 50,000 GBP excluding VAT.
