Description of the contract

Staffordshire County Council wishes to invite tenders for the provision of housing support services across Contract Lots covering the County of Staffordshire. The services will provide floating support for older people who have an identified and assessed housing support need. For the purposes of this tendering exercise, the Services are divided into three (3) Lots and it is the Council’s intention to award one contract in each of the Lots. Tenderers may tender for more than one (1) Contract Lot but no more than two (2) Contract Lots. If Tenderers submit a tender for more than one Lot, neither the tender or the provision of the service in one Contract Lot shall be conditional or dependent on the tender or the provision of the service in the other Contract Lot. The Lots are as detailed below: LOT NO. CONTRACT AREA LOT 1 District/Borough of Cannock Chase and; Stafford and; South Staffordshire LOT 2 District/Borough of East Staffordshire and; Lichfield and; Tamworth LOT 3 District/Borough of Newcastle under Lyme and; Staffordshire Moorlands The Council anticipates submissions which meets the strategic priority outcomes set out in the Strategic Plan ‘For your family, our community, and a prosperous Staffordshire’ 2012-2017. TUPE may apply to these contracts. The requirements of The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 have been considered.
