Description of the contract

Staffordshire County Council wishes to invite tenders for the provision of housing support services across Contract Lots covering the County of Staffordshire. The services will provide floating support for socially excluded people who have an identified and assessed housing support need. For the purposes of this tendering exercise, the Services are divided into eleven (11) Contract Lots split into lower and higher intensity of support. It is the Council’s intention to award one contract in each of the Lots. Tenderers may tender for one (1) Contract Lot, but no more than six (6) from the lower intensity Contracts (Lots 1 to 8) and no more than two (2) from the higher intensity Contract Lots (Lots 9 to 11). The Lots are set out in the following table. LOT 1 Lower Intensity The district of Cannock Chase LOT 2 Lower Intensity The borough of East Staffordshire LOT 3 Lower Intensity The district of Lichfield LOT 4 Lower Intensity The district of Newcastle under Lyme LOT 5 Lower Intensity The district of South Staffordshire LOT 6 Lower Intensity The borough of Stafford LOT 7 Lower Intensity The district of Staffordshire Moorlands LOT 8 Lower Intensity The borough of Tamworth LOT 9 Higher Intensity Cannock Chase, South Staffordshire and Stafford LOT 10 Higher Intensity Lichfield, Tamworth and East Staffordshire LOT 11 Higher Intensity Newcastle under Lyme and Staffordshire Moorlands The Council anticipates submissions which meets the strategic priority outcomes set out in the Strategic Plan ‘For your family, our community, and a prosperous Staffordshire’ 2012-2017. The requirements of The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 have been considered. TUPE may apply to these contracts.
