Description of the contract

As part of Bedford Borough Councils modernisation agenda changes to service delivery within the Environmental Health and Trading Standards department has led to an opportunity for the contracting out of part of the departments food safety programme. The department operates a risk based food hygiene inspection programme of food businesses, in line with the Food Law Code of Practice (England). All inspections and interventions are recorded using the Civica APP database system.
