Norfolk County Council (NCC) wishes to appoint a provider of Occupational Health services as a sole provider to a Framework Agreement. Whilst working collaboratively in providing services to NCC staff, the successful applicant will be expected to provide occupational health services to employees living and working across Norfolk.

The Framework is for 4 years. No call off against this framework will be permitted beyond 31.3.2018. This Framework will be used by Norfolk County Council employess covering Norfolk. It is our intention to also permit use of this framework to any service commissioned by Norfolk County Council, any District/Borough Council in Norfolk and to any Educational Establishment in Norfolk. Norfolk has three ‘tiers’ of local government. The county, city, district and borough councils in Norfolk are:
Norfolk County Council, Breckland District Council, Broadland District Council, Great Yarmouth Borough Council, King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council , Norwich City Council, South Norfolk District Council and North Norfolk District Council.
Norfolk County Council also works to support children and young people in a range of schools in Norfolk. There are 3 nursery schools, 356 primary schools, 25 secondary schools, 10 special schools, 2 all-through schools, and 1 short stay school. There are now 29 academies and 1 free school. This is a one stage process to appoint one provider to a Framework Agreement. The application process will be conducted in accordance with the information contained in the application documents. The Authority has voluntarily advertised this application in the Official Journal, solely in order to reach as wide an audience as possible. The Authority has been constrained by the forms used by the Publications Office to describe the application
procedure as “Open”. This will be a one-stage procurement process, but the authority does not bind itself to conduct the procurement process in accordance with the Open Procedure, as described in the Regulations. This procurement will be managed electronically via the Council’s procurement system.
