South Lanarkshire Council are seeking to appoint external Solicitors to carry out work on behalf of the Council in two areas i.e.:-

Lot 1 Commercial and Other Work relates to general commercial work such as procurement, major developments and adjudication but does not include Employment Law, Court of Session work or the work contained in Lot 2 below. One firm only is sought to be appointed for this Lot.

Lot 2 Financial Guardianship/Financial Interventions – to accept referrals of individuals from the Council who require a Financial Guardian or Financial Intervention. A maximum of four firms are sought in relation to this Lot.

The Contract to be entered into gives no guarantee of any particular volume of work however details of spend in the previous three years are provided in the tender document.
