The North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) is inviting responses from tenderers for a framework agreement for the Provision of a Winter Bureau and Road Weather Outstation Maintenance Services.
The purpose of this framework is to:
Maintain and operate the network of outstations and be responsible for the inspection, calibration, maintenance, repair and modification of the specified outstations.
Manage the data (including camera images where appropriate) from each outstation to enable remote monitoring of the road surface and atmospheric conditions for the detection and prediction of ice formation and other adverse weather conditions.
The provision and maintenance of a bureau service to allow viewing and downloading of all data and associated forecast information and to maintain the associated software.
The provision of a Helpdesk service to monitor the outstation data, identify faults and liaise with the Contracting Authorities’ personnel.
Engage with the Contracting Authorities in developing and improving the delivery of the winter service during the term of the contract.
The provision of all other such features described in the specification.

The North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) is inviting responses from tenderers for a framework agreement for the Provision of a Winter Bureau and Road Weather Outstation Maintenance Services.
The purpose of this framework is to:
