Dorset County Council is seeking tenders to establish a Framework Agreement with suitable suppliers to provide Operated and Self Operated Plant Hire in accordance with the following Tender Lots:-
Lot 1 – Plant with Operator;
Lot 2 – Plant without Operator (Self Drive);
Lot 3 – Small Plant;
Lot 4 – Planers and Pavers;
Lot 5 – Portable Building Hire.

Dorset County Council, Dorset Highway Operations (DHO) is seeking Tenders to establish a framework of suitable suppliers to provide Operated and Self Operated Plant Hire for potentially up to the next 4 years.
Structure of Framework:
The Framework is split between the following Lots:
Lot 1 – Plant and Operator;
Lot 2 – Plant without Operator (Self Drive);
Lot 3 – Small Plant;
Lot 4 – Planers and Pavers;
Lot 5 – Portable Building Hire.
Scope and Duration of the Framework:
The period of the framework will be for an initial period of 2 years (commencing 16.6.2014 and ending 15.6.2016), with provision to extend the framework for a further period of 24 months, on a year by year basis, subject to satisfactory performance, making a total 4 year period.
Contracting body, end users:
Whilist principally for use by Dorset County Council, Borough of Poole and Borough of Bournemouth, the Framework will also be open for use by other public sector bodies with the South West of England, subject to prior agreement by the Council. No access shall be given by the supplier to the Framework without said agreement.

Estimated Value of framework:
The estimated value of business in respect of Dorset County Council, Borough of Poole and Borough of Bournemouth is 18,448,000 GBP based on a four year period. This figure is given in guidance only and the Council(s) cannot guarantee that this value of business will be generated during the period of the framework. To allow for possible interest from other Contracting Bodies and collaborative access, the estimated value for the entire duration of the Framework shall range between 14 000 000 GBP and 25 000 000 GBP.
