II.4)Short description of nature and quantity or value of supplies or services:

The Foreign & Commonwealth Office intends to go out to tender for the delivery of Facilities Management and Property Related Services to various locations in France for the safe and satisfactory operation of the sites, through a performance specification. Service Providers will be required to provide a fully managed service, acting as a prime contractor with single point responsibility for managing and delivering all the services at the specified sites. The awarding authority may also wish to extend these Services to additional locations in Europe including various locations in Spain, Portugal and Italy during the period of the contract.
It is anticipated that the OJEU contract notice will be issued in May/June 2013 and the contract will go live in April 2014 for a three year period with an option for extension for a further 2 years.
