The Fusion21 Empty Buildings Refurbishment and Security Framework will provide a flexible and efficient procurement solution for Fusion21 Members (including but not exclusive to property owners in the residential, education, health, local and central government sectors) to save money and generate social value. Void / empty building works and services are extremely important functions to our Members and it is vital to be able to manage these properties and ensure they are repaired and refurbished to the standard required in the best time required. Fusion21 is seeking to appoint contractors who can deliver these works/services to a high standard. The Framework is split into two (2) separate lots to cover the refurbishment works as well as the site security, clearance and cleaning services required for these types of works.

Fusion21 will be appointing a sole supplier to its empty buildings security Lot – the sole supplier will deliver empty buildings security services to Fusion21 Members across the UK and all call-off contracts will be through a direct award to the sole supplier. The services to be delivered through this Lot include, but are not limited to:
— empty building security,
— alarm and monitoring service provision,
— cleaning of empty buildings,
— removal and disposal of waste,
— grounds maintenance to empty buildings,
— pest control services.
The Lot can be accessed by the full public sector, including, but not limited to: local authorities, housing associations, education establishments, government departments, health and blue light sectors.

The empty buildings refurbishment Lot is aimed at property owners / managers looking to appoint a supply partner to deliver property refurbishment and repairs to empty properties / voids on a term contract basis. Designed to complement the Fusion21 Reactive Repairs & Maintenance Framework, this work will cover repairs and improvements to empty properties including all building trades across the full public sector which includes, but not limited to, local authorities, housing associations, public buildings, government departments, health, blue light and commercial estates.

Where the Contract Notice states 8 operators to be appointed to the Framework, this applies to Lot 1 (refurbishment) and is 8 per geographical region. Please note that within Lot 2 (security) a single supplier will be appointed.
