East Devon District Council’s garden waste is anticipated to be between 2 500 and 5 000 tonnes per annum which will require composing to PAS 100 standards or equivalent.
The successful service provider will be required to provide a waste reception point within the East Devon District Council’s administrative boundaries to which the District Council can deliver their separately collected garden waste.
The service provider shall then transport the same waste from the waste reception point to his waste composting point with a view to composting at least 90 % of the waste delivered to it, producing an end-product that complies with PAS 100 standards or equivalent.
This service is not divided into lots as the value of the contract is relatively low and any divisions to lots will make the service gate fee unviable.
