Bield is looking to award a contract for the provision of Gas Servicing and Maintenance services. This includes servicing and landlord certification which is carried out on a 10 month cycle. We have a variety of commercial and domestic appliances across the organisation. We also require a call out service and out of hours service which must comply with our response times which are: Emergency repairs – 6 Hours; Urgent repairs – 3 days; Non-urgent repairs – 15 days. Our intention is to award this contract for a period of 3 years from 1.4.2013 to 31.3.2016, with the option to extend by up to a further 24 months in total. The decision on whether to use the extension option available will be at our discretion and will be based on a number of factors including performance, budget availability and market conditions at the time. The contract will be split into three separate lots as follows. A total of 5 suppliers will be taken through to the tender stage for each lot. A single supplier will then to be awarded per lot. Please note that no single contractor will be awarded more than 1 lot. Lot 1 West of Scotland, including Rothesay and Dunoon; Lot 2 East of Scotland, including Borders; Lot 3 Angus, Dundee city, Fife and Perth. The total value of this contract over the entire period including any extension options will be approximately 1,725,000 GBP. This is based on the entire contract period including extension options (5 years).
