Description of the contract

Hertfordshire County Council require a Contractor to provide both male and female, SIA registered, door security supervisors to Services for Young People (SfYP) – Youth Connexions events and activities. The events are held throughout the year and the requirement of Door Supervisors (hereinafter referred to as Staff) will be on an adhoc basis. During the events, Staff will work under the direct supervision of the named SfYP Youth Connexions member of staff for the particular event or activity or the identified deputy member of SfYP Youth Connexions staff. The Contractor are required to support SfYP Youth Connexions workers in ensuring the operation of the venue / activity is safe, legal and appropriate for the young people attending. The contract shall commence on 1st August 2012 and continue for a period of 18 months to 31st January 2014, with the provision to extend for a further 18 months.
