Description of the contract

Expressions of interests are requested to supply York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust with an upgrade to our current Medical vacuum plant. The existing 3 vacuum pumps must be removed and replaced with a 4 pump unit. There will be an installation of new bacterial filters and a second reservoir piped in parallel with the existing unit. The existing system will have to be kept in service while the new vacuum pumps are installed to minimise the transfer downtime to the shortest possible time which would require the work to be carried out at a time when use of the system is at its lowest.
