Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: (a) Authorised tp conduct insurance business – insurer must be authorised to conduct the business required in accordance with the provision of the Insurance Companies Act 1982 and any Statutory modifications thereof or equivalent legislation in Ireland (b) FSA Regulation – insurers will be required to demonstrate that they are regulated by the appropriate National Regulatory Body such as the UK Financial Services Agency.
