II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

Cable percussion, rotary and windowless sample boreholes, machine and hand excavated trial pits, in situ and laboratory testing and the preparation of a ground investigation (factual) report. Laboratories must be UKAS and MCERTs accredited. Exploratory holes will be required within the Northumbrian Water and Essex and Suffolk Water areas on private and public land including highways, the contractor will therefore need to demonstrate NRASWA compliance. The works will be carried out in accordance with the current editions of the Site Investigation Steering Group Specification and the ICE Conditions of Contract Ground Investigation Version.

Description of these options: The duration of the Framework is 3 years with options to extend for a further 2 years dependent upon business needs, markets and performance and will be subject to regular reviews.
