Restoration work. restoration work. Expresssions of interest are sought for this project. The Particulars are as follows: The project is partially funded with grant aid from English Heritage. The anticipated value is in the region of 95 000 GBP excluding VAT. The buildings is a medieval church Listed Grade I. The structure of solid local sandstone with lead and slate roofs. The works include the reroofing of the Chancel and Tower and masonry repairs to the Tower. The works will be carried out on a minor works contract and specification. Those wishing to be included on the tender list must provide the following information: evidence to demonstrate a track record in the field of stonework conservation on listed ecclesiastical buildings. A statement to demonstrate a track record working with and managing other conservation disciplines on ecclesiastical buildings. A list of similar projects for which you have been responsible with contacts from whom references may be obtained. A list of crafts people on your payroll and their qualifications – Confirmation that the company participates in the CSC Scheme and employs and trains apprentices. A statement of turnover for the last 3 years. – Details of public and employers liability insurance. Please note that in view of the type of work it would be an advantage if the Contractor were to be based relatively close to the site.
