The contract will be for a fixed term of five years with a possible mutually agreed extension of up to two years. The planned commencement date is 25.2.2015. It is anticipated that tenders will be sought in August 2014.
The indicative quantity of work under the contract is the removal of approximately 20,000 square metres of graffiti per annum with an estimated annual contract value of 100 000 GBP, although there is no guarantee of the volume or value of work to be placed.
Estimated value excluding VAT: 700 000 GBP

Completing the pre-qualification questionnaire
Completed PQQs, along with any supporting documentation must be submitted through the portal by 12:00 noon on 15.4.2014.
Details of the selection criteria for inclusion within the tender list are provided within the PQQ.
Suppliers are advised that references will be obtained in writing from three referees. It is the supplier’s responsibility to ensure that their referees respond within the time scale.
It is intended to restrict the tender list to a maximum of six suppliers. If more than six suppliers fulfil the criteria for selection, those scoring the highest number of points on the selection criteria will be invited to tender.
The award of the contract will be based on the lowest priced compliant tender.
