Market Engagement Event Greenwich Community Health Services for Children and Young People Procurement 16th October 2014 from 9.30am-11.30am Venue: Greenwich (TBC following registration) Contract Duration: 3 Years Greenwich Clinical Commissioning Group (GCCG) are looking to procure innovative ways of delivering key community services for children and young people (birth-18 years) including elements of specialist care in response to children and young people with complex needs and long term conditions. The service will provide co-ordinated care that contributes to a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) around the child approach, working in collaboration with key stakeholders in primary care , acute services, mental health services, families and individuals to manage their health needs and develop high quality, seamless integrated care 24/7 365 days per year. Start date of the service will be 1st October 2015 The service will encompass the following (but not limited to): • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Service. • Community Audiology (excluding tertiary audiology) • Community Paediatrics • Community Nursing including Continuing Care and End of Life pathway; • Dietetics • Looked After Children • Music Therapy • Nursing; • Paediatric Occupational Therapy • Paediatric Physiotherapy • Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy • Residential Respite/Short Breaks/Step Down and Outreach Services for Under 5’s • Special Schools Nursing (Specialist Schools) • Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) • **Additional services may be added to those stated above at a later stage in the process following service reviews with other commissioning organisations The services referred to above will be provided as one seamless service with a single point of access. We would welcome innovative service models including collaborative provision of services, this would require one prime contractor. The purpose of the event is to provide an overview of existing services and encourage innovative thinking in relation to future service delivery.
