Grounds maintenance services for all estates/sites owned and managed by CCHA. It is anticipated that the annual contract value will be between 50 000 and 100 000 GBP.

The services required by these contracts, can include but are not restricted to:
— cutting and maintenance of grassed areas,
— the collection of leaves and litter, fly tipping and bulk refuse,
— maintenance of hard and soft landscaped areas,
— shrub, hedge and rose maintenance,
— management of trees on a day to day basis and other site based tasks which may be carried out on a routine or reactive basis.

The contract will commence run for a period of 5 years with the option to renewal up to a further 5 years (on a 3 + 2 years basis), subject to satisfactory reviews and CCHA discretion. The maximum duration is 10 years.

The Contracting Authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are Small or Medium Enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of Tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to cancel the procurement at any time and not to proceed with the award of all or parts of the contract at any stage of the procurement process.
