Grounds-maintenance equipment. Tractors. Mechanical excavators. Lawn, park or sports-ground mowers. South Lanarkshire Council invites offers from suitably qualified contractors for the Supply & Delivery of a range of Grounds Maintenance Machinery consisting of Golf Course Grounds Machinery, Tractors and Mini Excavators to various sites and locations throughout the South Lanarkshire area.
The contract will be split into three lots;
Lot 1 – Supply and Delivery of Golf Course Machinery.
Lot 2 – Supply and Delivery of Tractors.
Lot 3 – Supply and Delivery of Mini Excavators with Attachments.
Tenderers can bid for one or more items in Lot 1.
Tenderers can bid for one or more items in Lot 2.
Tenderers wishing to bid for lot 3 must bid for all items within Lot 3 (as this is for mini excavators and compatible attachments).
The contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender for each individual item within lot 1 and lot 2 and on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender for Lot 3 in it’s entirety.
The estimated value of the contract is approximately £707 000 and is for the purchase of the machines listed in the schedules from the date of award, anticipated to be in early September 2012, until 30.4.2013.
