This Contract for grounds maintenance services represents a strategy for achieving certain policy aims and objectives for the management and maintenance of parks, open spaces, housing communal areas, cemeteries and closed churchyards, playing fields and other amenity areas throughout the Borough of Nuneaton and Bedworth. This Contract contains routine grounds maintenance operations and works in relation to cemetery burial functions. The cemetery works are on an as required basis and an indication of the level of requirement outlined in the specification This contract shall commence on the 1.11.2019 for an Initial period of 5 years, expiring on 31.10.2024. The Authority has 2 optional 2 year extensions and one optional 1 year extension (a maximum extension period of 5 years split 2 + 2 + 1) subject to budget, performance (in compliance with the specification and key performance criteria) and a continued requirement.
