The requirement is to provide grounds maintenance services to Northumbrian Water Limited. This will include both the Northumbrian Water and Essex and Suffolk Water operating areas. The services will include grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding and other adhoc ground maintenance works. There maybe the requirement to provide winter services such as snow clearance and gritting. The requirement will be split into Lots and contractors will be able to bid for any or all the Lots. There will be 5 lots in total and in the Northumbrian Water operating area the work will be split into the following 4 lots:
1. Northumberland and Tyneside;
2. Central Area;
3. Tees Area;
4. Kielder.
In addition Essex and Suffolk will be one Lot.

The requirement is to provide grounds maintenance services to Northumbrian Water Limited. This will include both the Northumbrian Water and Essex and Suffolk Water operating areas. The services will include grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding and other adhoc ground maintenance works. There maybe the requirement to provide winter services such as snow clearance and gritting. The requirement will be split into Lots and contractors will be able to bid for any or all the Lots. There will be 5 lots in total and in the Northumbrian Water operating area the work will be split into the following 4 lots:
1. Northumberland and Tyneside;
2. Central Area;
3. Tees Area;
4. Kielder.
In addition Essex and Suffolk will be one Lot.

Description of these options: The duration of the framework is 5 years with option to extend for a further 2 years dependent upon business needs, markets and performance and will be subject to regular reviews. Applicants are asked to note that this procurement process will be managed electronically, with all documents and communication being managed through the Northumbrian Water e-Sourcing Spend Management web-site hosted by Ariba. Access to the pre-qualification documents held in Ariba will be given when an expression of interest is received by the person listed in Section I.
3) The deadline for expressions of interest is given in IV.3.4). The deadline for the return of the PQQ documents will be 30.8.2013.
