North Wales Police are seeking a suitable supplier to provide grounds maintenance services to properties belonging to both Services. The preferred option is a single supplier to provide the service across the whole geographic area but consideration may be given to awarding to more than one supplier by regional area if it is economically advantagous. If this were to be considered it would be in three areas Western, Central and Eastern.
The NWP property portfolio comprises of approximately 61 properties ranging from small localised stations to large multi occupancy buildings including specialist properties such as the air base and firing ranges.
The NWFRS property portfolio comprises of approximately 47 properties including small localised retained fire stations to office buildings. It is important to note that both services have properties within the whole of the North Wales geographic area.
The Force and Service will require the successful contractor to be able to evidence both experience and best practice in the areas of horticulture, arboriculture, landscaping and grounds maintenance and be able to undertake programmed work.
Please note this tender exercise is being undertaken via the Bluelight e tendering portal at www.bluelight.gov.uk and NO correspondence will be entered into outside of this. Potential suppliers should register free of charge at this site to enable the downloading of the relevant tender documents.
