Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: The Council will issue the invitation to tender to those organisations successful at the pre-qualification stage. The contract may include two service elements that could be withdrawn from the contract either prior to the contract start date or at some stage within the contract period; these are: (1) the maintenance of a Bowling Green; and (2) the maintenance of a piece of large green open space providing football and cricket pitches.
Bidders will be required to separately price these items within their tender submission identifying savings to the contracting authority in the case of the withdrawal of either one or both of these service elements.
