Interim Waste Contract for the treatment/disposal of the authority’s residual municipal waste.Haulage of the residual from the two existing Transfer Stations to the delivery point(s)are to be undertaken by the authority’s own transport.
The contract would be for a 3 year period with a right to extend on an annual basis.The Authority has set out minimum requirements for the PQQ selection stage.Bidders who do not meet the minimum requirements at that stage will not have their tenders considered further.

Gwynedd Council is a partner in the North Wales Residual Waste Treatment Project which are procuring a 25 year residual waste treatment solution .This solution is expected to be operational 2017/18.
The issue of this Invitation to tender in no way commits the Authority to award any agreement pursuant to the tender process. The Authority is not bound to accept the lowest price or any tender.
Community Benefits do not apply to this contract.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Gwynedd will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Applicants have two working days from notification of the award decision to request additional debriefing and that information has to be provided a minimum of 3 working days before expiry of the standstill period.
