Kings College London requires clinical, woodchip bedding, radioactive and other hazardous waste management services. This will include the segregation, collection, treatment and final disposal services for clinical, woodchip bedding, radioactive and other hazardous waste, and associated waste streams. These can be applied for as separate lots (1 to 4):
Lot 1: Clinical waste,
Lot 2: Woodchip bedding,
Lot 3: Radioactive waste,
Lot 4: Other Hazardous waste (this will cover but not be limited to Chemicals (including laboratory smalls and solvents), Products containing CFCs, Developing chemicals, mineral oils, Fluorescent tubes, Mercury, Non IT Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
There is also the requirement to monitor and report on clinical, woodchip bedding, radioactive and other hazardous waste streams from creation to final disposal.
Clinical waste and woodchip bedding will require scheduled collections from specific waste storage areas, radioactive waste will require on demand collections from specific waste storage areas and other hazardous waste will require on demand collections from across the Authorities estates and from within the Authorities embedded areas within partnering NHS Foundation Trusts.
