Description of the contract
The Flexible Support Fund (FSF) is intended to help Jobcentre Plus (JCP) District Managers to flexibly deliver elements of our service in the way they see fit for their Districts. In particular, the FSF enables JCP Districts to trial different approaches to tackling worklessness. Greater autonomy for District Managers will enable Jobcentre Plus to respond to one of the priorities of the coalition government – public service reform and the devolution of power from the centre to the front line. District Managers are best placed to deliver elements of our service effectively and efficiently, procuring external services where appropriate, in order to meet the needs of local customers. Wessex JCP District intend to use the FSF to access specific and bespoke support to assist customers, who are in receipt of either Employment Support Allowance (ESA), Income Support (IS), Invalidity Benefit (IB) or Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) and not yet eligible for the Work Programme or Work Choice. These customers have health or disability barriers preventing them moving towards and into sustainable employment and many will also have multiple and complex needs. JCP is looking for an organisation to deliver this provision that can access and draw on a range of expertise in: – • Physical health conditions or disabilities • Mental ill health • Learning disabilities • Condition Management For further information regarding this oportunity please see the Health Related Modular Support inviation to tender pack which can be accessed via the BravoSolution portal https://dwp.bravosolution.co.uk and will be available to download from 16 March 2012
