The scope of the tender is to provide:
1. Administration of the Healthcare Scheme which will include:
1.1 Establish and maintain membership database
1.2 Establish benefit entitlements and claiming any sum due from insurance company
1.3 Settling any claims in accordance with the scheme rules
1.4 Acknowledge changes to the scheme of benefits received from the trustees and maintain an up to date and accurate benefits table and members handbook
1.5 Member communication both a launch and ongoing including AWG branding
2. Claims Assessment Service which will include:
2.1 Identify the employee or eligible dependent via data protection controls.
2.2 Pre-authorise treatment in line with the benefits and rules of the scheme.
2.3 Guide the claimant through the benefit limitations to ensure recognition of financial limits
2.4 Bring attention to special situations eg. Children and NHS
2.5 Claims authorisaton in line with the agreed directory of hospitals
2.6 Record on claimants records details of all telephone conversations
3. Service to Healthcare providers which will include:
3.1 Pre-authorise treatment to providers in line with the benefits and rules of the scheme
3.2 Payment of claims in line with hospital agreements
3.3 Challenge invoices where appropriate
