The Authority has created an integrated, streamlined 0-19 service that integrates both of these provisions and ensures that the services are effective and efficient for the customers that use them. Other areas that are included in the integrated service are:
— Breast Feeding Peer Support;
— Public health element of CONI (jointly commissioned with CCG);
— Public Health element of paediatric liaison (jointly commissioned with CCG);
— National Child Measurement Programme;
— Resources element of Oral Health promotion;
— Child Weight Management Service;
— Healthy Schools;
— Healthy Tots;
— Public health element of homeless, asylum seeks and travelling families.
Leicester City Council, working with Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), invites applications for the provision of a Children’s Integrated Healthcare Service (0-19 years).
The proposed Contract will be for 2 years with an option to extend for a period or periods totalling no more than 2 years and it is anticipated to award to a single Supplier and the procurement will be undertaken as a competitive procedure with negotiation.
