Description

High Peak Borough Council is preparing a Local Plan to shape future development of the borough up to the year 2028. Applications are now invited from suitably qualified and experienced organisations that wish to be considered for the commission of the High Peak Local Plan – Landscape Impact Appraisal.

The emerging Local Plan includes a housing requirement for the Borough, designed to balance meeting the Borough’s objectively assessed housing need with protection of both its high quality landscapes and the setting of the Peak District National Park.

The High Peak Preferred Options Plan includes site allocations for a range of land uses including housing, employment and leisure. Some of these allocations are in the countryside and two small sites are in green belt.
