Description of the goods or services required

The University wishes to purchase a high performance computer (HPC) as part of its joint University of Edinburgh – Heriot-Watt University Robotarium programme. The procurement includes the HPC hardware, specialist software, installation and on-site parts and labour 5 years warranty for head and storage; 3 years for compute nodes. The available budget is disclosed in the Invitation to Tender document.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

Bidders must have a proven track record of supplying and installing HPC systems comparable to the subject matter of this contract.

Bidders are asked to provide copies of their last two years’ Annual Accounts or equivalent financial statements to evidence a minimum turnover of at least three times the value of this contract.
