TRAffic-speed Condition Surveys (TRACS) have been carried out to provide routine condition assessment of the strategic road network since 2000.
The data from TRACS surveys is highly important to Highways England. It is a vital component in providing a network level assessment of the condition of the network which can be used to support reporting to stakeholders, auditing of Highways England’s performance, asset valuation, financial planning and at the scheme level.
