Nottingham City Council is seeking to appoint an organisation to deliver a Home Improvement Agency Service designed to help older people aged 60+ and other vulnerable citizens to remain in their own homes. The service is expected to work to assist vulnerable home owner occupiers to live safely and independently in their own homes by offering checks, advice and guidance relating to the need for (and by assisting with the arrangements for access to) works to improve the safety of their home.
This service is to be provided with the aim of helping to reduce the occurrence of avoidable injury or ill health experienced by older people and other vulnerable citizens that are caused by hazards within the living environment at home.
Contract will be awarded for 3 years subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
