Frequency and value of the contracts to be awarded: At the same time as tendering for the framework, Tenderers will be asked to submit prices for up to 400 routes which will be awarded after the commencement of the Framework Agreement. The Council may use e-auctions for some or all of the routes. Further contracts will be awarded via mini competition as and when required.
For the purpose of clarity this Framework will not be used to procure specialised transport required for learners with Special Educational Needs.
The Council will conduct mini competitions for individual routes some of which may be subject to e-auction. It is at the Council’s sole discretion to take forward routes to e-auction.

Additional information about electronic auction: E auctions will not be used to award contractors on to the Framework. On successful award to the Framework contractors may be required to particiapte in e-auction/s for individual routes. The Council has sole discretion regarding the number of individual routes to be auctioned.
