Honeycomb Customer Profiling Initiative

2.2 Description of the goods or services required

Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT), on behalf of the Honeycomb Partnership, is seeking to appoint an innovative and dynamic individual/organisation to develop a customer profiling initiative on behalf of the Honeycomb partners in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland involved in digital content creation.

DkIT would welcome creative and innovative ideas as to how this initiative should be delivered. One of the main aims of the Honeycomb Programme is to ensure sustainability for the companies and freelancers that are operating in the Honeycomb area. In order to bring about this sustainability, it is vital for companies to have access to up-to-date market intelligence and to know what potential customer base is in their area and overseas.

The Honeycomb Programme also provides the Network with an opportunity to sell its expertise and services as a collective of companies and freelancers based right across the three regions. The Customer Profiling Initiative will involve the development of two customer profiling surveys which will assist the Honeycomb Network of companies and freelancers involved in digital content creation in developing a targeted sales and marketing plan towards sustainability.

The potential customer base for the Network will be identified in the following key areas:

– Digital content creation

– Trans-disciplinary (corporate, health, education, tourism)
