NHS Dumfries and Galloway are seeking a Private Sector Partner to participate and invest in a new District General Hospital.
The Project will involve the design, build, finance and maintenance of a new District General Hospital with an estimated cost range of GBP 180-200 million.
This will be delivered under the Scottish Government’s Non-Profit Distributing (NPD) model which is the form of public-private partnership preferred by the Scottish Government.

NHS Dumfries and Galloway will hold a Bidders’ Open Day on Friday, 28.6.2013 for those parties interested in the Project. The Bidders’ Open Day will be held in Dumfries.
Interested parties wishing to attend the Bidders’ Open Day should register as soon as possible to attend this event by either emailing Dawn Diamond at dawn.diamond@nhs.net, or by writing to Project Office, Acute Servcies Redevelopment Project, Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, Bankend Road, Dumfries DG1 4AP. All correspondence should be clearly marked – NHS Dumfries and Galloway Acute Services Redevelopment Project – Attendance at Bidders’ Open Day. All correspondence should also confirm if the parties wish to request a short private meeting on the day. Private meetings will be restricted to consortia only, and NHS Dumfries and Galloway reserves the right to limit the duration of private meetings.
