Repair and maintenance services of building installations. Wandsworth Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and competent suppliers for Housing Area Repair Contracts within the borough including: works to vacant properties; works within tenanted units; works to communal areas; plumbing and tank chlorination services; and specialist metalwork services.
The contract will be split into 14 lots. Each contract will be awarded to a primary and secondary contractor based on a split of between 60 %-80 % of work being awarded to the primary contractor and 20%-40% of work being awarded to the secondary contractor.

The fixed term for Lots 1 – 13 will be five years with a possible mutually agreed extension of up to a further 2 years.
The fixed term for Lot 14 will be four years and 6 months, with a possible mutually agreed extension of up to a further 2 years.
Estimated annual values for the Lots are as follows:

Lot 2 – Repairs to tenanted properties (Southern Area) estimated value 1 214000 GBP per year;
Lot 3 – Repairs to tenanted properties (Central Area) estimated value 1 035 000 GBP per year;

Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: It is envisaged that up to 6 suppliers per Lot will be invited to tender. To express an interest in the opportunity, suppliers must submit a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) which is available at www.supply4london.gov.uk Suppliers must register on this site to respond, although those already registered will not need to register again and will be able to use their existing username and password. Please note there is a password reminder link on the homepage.

Completed PQQs, along with any supporting documentation must be submitted through the portal by 12:00 noon on 8.1.2014.
Details for the selection criteria for inclusion within the tender list are provided within the PQQ.
Suppliers are addvised that references will be obtained in writing from three referees. It is the supplier’s responsibility to ensure that their referees respond within the timescales.
It is intended to restrict the tender list to a maximum of 6 suppliers per Lot. If more than 6 suppliers fulfil the criteria for selection, those scoring the highest number of points on the selection criteria will be invited to tender.
The award of contracts will be based on the lowest priced compliant tender.
