THIS IS NOT A TENDER – Soft Market Test re: HR and Payroll Systems The Greater Manchester HR Collaboration is seeking potentially to go to the marketplace and explore solutions for HR and Payroll systems, that will improve productivity, increase efficiencies, decrease costs and streamline processes, to ensure continued value for money. A key consideration for the council is to understand the various options and methodologies used in the marketplace with particular focus on data migration, how it can be hosted, and any limits on the usage regarding licences. We are keen to explore the strengths, weaknesses, integration with other Council systems, risks, costs and implications around a range of solutions including, cloud-based hosting.

This Session will be an opportunity to outline a general background to the collaborative requirements for those authorities involved and will allow them to explore any intended upcoming procurement scope and structure, and to gather feedback from market players on this approach. This will give the GM HR Collaboration an opportunity to give context on their current position and discuss plans for the future, it will also allow them to share information to inform their future thinking around the requirements for a HR/Payroll solution.
