The service is presently delivered in-house but due to a loss of key personnel the College have taken the decision to go out to tender for an outsourced service provision. The contract is being tendered for an initial term of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 terms of 12 months each. The deadline for SQ submissions via the In-Tend system is 17:00 on 15.2.2019.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
Wyvern College are currently out to tender for the provision of a fully managed ICT service. The contract is being offered for a term of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 periods of 12 months. The contract commencement date is 1.7.2019. The contract is for a fully managed ICT service. TUPE is not expected to apply.

A maximum of 5 suppliers will be taken forward to the invitation to tender stage of the process. Where less than 5 suppliers meet the minimum standards, only those that meet the minimum standards will be taken through to the invitation to tender stage. Where more than 5 suppliers meet the minimum standard, those suppliers with the highest scores will proceed to the invitation to tender stage.

Wyvern College will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
