This is the supplier selection stage of the ICT managed service tender for Community Schools Trust, encompassing Forest Gate Community School, The Cumberland School and Hackney New School. The Trust requires a Contractor to undertake the ICT Managed Service in accordance with good practice so as to provide a high service standard throughout the Schools for the benefit of School staff and pupils, the local community and any visitors to the site. Complete information regarding the service requirement can be found via the tender documentation, specifically the Statement of Requirements Appendix 7.1. This is the tender process for the ICT Managed Services tender for Community Schools Trust, encompassing Forest Gate Community School, The Cumberland School and Hackney New School. The Trust requires a service encompassing the following core functions:

— strategic management and planning,

— programme and project management,

— project development works,

— contract and relationship management,

— network and infrastructure management,

— network administration,

— security management,

— provision of service desk,

— provision of onsite staffing,

— desktop support and maintenance,

— problem resolution,

— hardware fix (in conjunction with manufacturer warranty, etc),

— support of all legacy equipment,

— software installation, configuration and management,

— change management and implementation,

— disaster recovery. TUPE is expected to apply and the relevant information is included within the tender documents.

Community Schools Trust will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
