Worcestershire County Council are seeking to appoint a Managed Service Provider to deliver a range of ICT services; including the management and support of the business as usual environment as well as delivery of change and project activities in support of the Council’s Corporate and Digital Strategies.
The scope of this service will encompass all aspects of infrastructure services; including but not limited to desktop, servers, storage, data centres, telephony, print management, security, cloud based services and local area networks. In addition the scope will include the service desk and service management function across all elements of ICT, whether delivered by the appointed Managed Service Provider, delivered internally within Worcestershire County Council or procured through a third party. The service desk will be a single point of contact for all ICT related matters. The partner organisation will also be expected to manage the supply chain for any ICT services or products that are deemed by the Council to be appropriate.
In addition to the management and support of the existing environment, Worcestershire County Council will also commission the Managed Service Provider to provide a range of change, project and procurement activities across any and all aspects of ICT and provide associated support and management services in relation to these solutions.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: In accordance with Regulation 32 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) the contracting authorities will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the contract award decision is communicated to tenderers.
