The Dearne ALC moved into a brand new building in January 2011 and are still maximising the benefits this offers. Many of its students live in areas measured to have the highest levels of social deprivation nationally and its priority remains to provide for them the very best 21st Century learning environment. The School are re-focusing their specialism so as to deliver high aspiration business, enterprise and employability ambitions. This goal is based on providing excellence and innovation in learning, secured and supported by well-resourced computer technologies.
The Dearne ALC is looking to source an IT managed services partner whom shall be able to support the strategic ambitions of the School.
The School wish to tender for the provision of an outsourced IT management service that will continue to support the school’s current day-to-day IT support requirements and infrastructure. As well as this, the supplier shall also provide expert advice and facilitation to support the School’s desire to enhance the service offering of the IT function to students, teaching and support staff, whilst supporting the changing demands of schooling and education provision.
