Road transport services. Expressions of interest are invited from contractors who may wish to apply a 4 year framework agreement for the provision of impounding and immobilisation services to the Vehicle & Operator Services Agency (VOSA). The framework will be split into two lots with contractors being able to apply for either or both. The first is for the roadside recovery, secure storage and disposal of Heavy Goods Vehicles and Public Service Vehicles identified by VOSA as being illegally operated, i.e. without an Operators Licence where one is required. The second is for the removal of immobolisation devices from commercial vehicles at a variety of locations. Both lots require contractors who are able to cover all locations within England, Scotland and Wales. This will require the successful contractor to develop a close working relationship with VOSA in developing and streamlining the processes.

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
