The United Utilities Operational Technology department was created in 2012 to focus the business in Monitoring, Control and Automation capability to deliver uniform strategic solutions throughout the Company.
The Company are seeking to award up to three Frameworks that can provide capabilities in the specialist areas of Industrial Monitoring Control and Automation (IMCA) professional services.
Currently some of these services are provided by incumbent Engineering Service providers and these agreements are due to expire in 2015.
The services provided may be in the form of packaged projects to be carried out at the Service providers premises or resources based within the OT department at the Company sites.
The Service providers will require Industrial MCA capability in the following areas:
Needs Identification;
Solution Identification;
Requirements specification;
Root cause analysis;
Asset optimisation;
Data gathering, interpretation, and communication;
Data analytics;
Outline design;
Project & Programme management;
Business planning.
