Instructions to suppliers

TCBC are seeking expressions of interest to tender for the manufacture, supply and installation of unique corten steel structures to form a pallette of information and interpretation points in the Blaenavon World Heritage Site. The pallette consists of a range of profiles including profiled 3m high 30-40mm thick artistic corten steel information points, profiled 1.2m high 10mm thick children at play and bespoke artistic railings. The corten steel will need to be laser / plasma or water cut. The installation locations vary from urban to semi rural. All structures will be free standing and are to be set in their own foundations. The location for the larger structures have good access. All structures have been designed including engineered designs for foundations.


Expression of interest to notice: 2 weeks. Reply by email by 2pm Friday 2nd November 2012

Tendering period: 4 weeks November 12th 2012 / 4pm 7th December 2012.

Contract to manufacture and install: 8 weeks period dates to confirmed. Completion no later than 15th March 2013.
