Tenders for insurance risks will be invited on the basis of a 3 or 5 year long term agreement. Options for other term contracts will be considered provided sufficient information is provided by tenderers for the total cost of each option to be assessed. Insurers will be permitted to tender for all or some of the risk classes.
The tender document will incorporate insurance information for the following educational establishments who participate in the Universities / Colleges Buying Group.
Birmingham City University, Coventry University, Harper Adams University College, University of Northampton, Bishop Grosseteste University College, Edge Hill University, University of Greenwich, Ravensbourne College, University for the Creative Arts, Liverpool Hope University, York St. John University, Leeds Trinity & All Saints University College, University of Cumbria, University of Central Lancashire and University of Lincoln.
The tender / subsequent contracts may also be extended to include other higher education establishments of a similar profile at any time.
The tender is being managed by the Group’s insurance broker and risk consultant, Aon Ltd.
